BREATHLESS provides not only the development and production of outstandig artistic documentaries, but also serves as a plattform, which inspires the professional exchange and cooperation between filmmakers from ermany and the Czech Republic and encourages the cultural dialogue between both countries. Concrete project work, cross-border cooperations, further training during two intensive three-day workshops and the mentoring by international experienced documentaryfilm experts supports the devlopment of a creative network.

The first workshop about development and research strategies took place in July 2008. A second workshop about editing and filmstructure will be held in June 2009. During the one and a half year-long research-, production- and postproduction process the filmmakers will be accompanied by international experienced directors, producers, DoPs and distributions experts, who will give professional advises to each single projects.
