Young Films

From now on the festival office is situated above the Passage Kinos, finally arriving at a permanent home for the "DOK zwischendurch" series.

To mark the death of Gerhard Scheumann "Mitbürger" and "Ich war, ich bin, ich werde sein", two films about Chile, are shown. There is a debate concerning the film "Paulina" by Vicky Funari. In the selection committee there is indecision as to whether the film is "sexist" or "feminist", with the committee finally placing it in a special showing.

For the first time, the " long night of young cinema" arrives as a festival event, with film, music, literature and a party in the Passage Kino. The feature is to be expanded in the coming years.

The Golden Dove winner "Brottag" is the audience favourite this year.
