Seen for the first time - rediscovered

For the first time there is now a separate competition for animated film. Following the drop in audience numbers in previous years the number of viewers rises to 18,000 (in 1993 a mere 5,500 visitors), 2,000 more than in 1994. The retrospective of the Federal Archive/Film Archive Berlin this year is devoted to documentary examples from 100 years of German film ("Seen for the first time - rediscovered").

Merchandising tips are provided by Les Blank (USA); Stickers and T-shirts are on sale after each showing of his film.
